2025 Music Happenings !
Just before setting sail on Outlaw Country Cruise Number Nine next week I’d like to let you know about a bunch of music I’ve been working on.
On Feb 14th Sarah Borges is releasing a 7” vinyl single on Lakeside Lounge Records. Side A is a new recording of an unreleased World Famous Blue Jays song written by the late Jeremy Tepper and his Diesel Only partner Jay Godfrey. Side B is a new song from Sarah’s forthcoming album written by Sarah, Keith Voegele and Eric Ambel called “The Right Love”. You can order the 45 here and watch the video here. The record was produced by me and recorded at Cowboy Technical Services in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. It’s also available at all the streaming sites here. Also, there is a first time ever World Famous Blue Jays CD about to be released too!

Kasey Anderson’s new record and Evie.
Also new February 14th is Kasey Anderson’s latest record To The Places We Lived. I’m so excited for you to hear it. Kasey wrote some great songs and had excellent collaborators. He brought me the record to mix and augment some things. I worked on it a bunch at Evie’s then we finished it up at Cowboy Technical. It’s available on vinyl, CD and streaming here.
I’ve got a few really cool records I produced that are getting ready to be released this year.
Tommy Womack with the CTS electric Sitar
Last summer Tommy Womack came up to Brooklyn to record with me and my guys and he brought a great batch of songs. After we tracked them we worked a little more remotely to get them where we wanted then Tommy came back up from Nashville so we could mix and eat lunch a few more times. The record is called Live A Little. I’m not sure exactly when it’s coming out but if you want to hear a powerful song from the sessions you can click this link.
I had been talking to Mic Harrison about doing a record for a while. I finally got together with Mic Harrison And The High Score at Top Hat in Knoxville, TN and we got a bunch of cool songs tracked together live. The record is called Peach Blossom Youth. Keep an eye on Mic’n them’s website for details on the release.

After Erik Vincent Huey released his acclaimed Appalachian Gothic album in 2023 he started touring with the Baltimore hard pop band Starbelly. After those great gigs it seemed fitting for them to record together. We’ve got the record half way done and hope to have it ready for a late fall release.
